Jimoto no Gaijin

Who am I? Since 1985,a resident of Ajigasawa, a small town on the west coast of Honshu, Japan- yes, way up there near the top, in Aomori Prefecture. Problem? I've got the wrong face (Canadian Celt). People still give a start when they round the supermarket aisle and see me. So, who am I? Jimoto no Gaijin- the local foreigner.

Good Intentions

Well, it's been nearly a month. My time in Canada was stimulating and refreshing, but I came back to a lot of backed-up work, and a situation which requires a lot of adjustment. Finding a quiet place has been hard, but here and there God has given me the help I've needed. I would prefer the simple disappearance of 5 or 6 problems, but that's not how it works.
