Jimoto no Gaijin

Who am I? Since 1985,a resident of Ajigasawa, a small town on the west coast of Honshu, Japan- yes, way up there near the top, in Aomori Prefecture. Problem? I've got the wrong face (Canadian Celt). People still give a start when they round the supermarket aisle and see me. So, who am I? Jimoto no Gaijin- the local foreigner.

Here At Last

So much for good intentions. I neglected this production for several weeks, then discovered they had sold the outfit, and the programmers had created an updated version. I got lost in the tangle, and so did my user name. My computer-intrepid wife finally rescued me, and here I am again.
A lot of developments have occured in the interim, including the loss of my "b" key. I am using copy-and-paste as an emergency measure, and trying to avoid the use of words using that letter. It is a challenge. I have even noticed a tendancy to balk at b's when I am writing by hand!
My family is shaming me into action with their copious entries. All but Luke, who is doing some on-line college courses, and is in a fair way to match my records for non-posting.
Thank you for your patience, dear readers- if any of you are still there!
