Planned Coincidents
The bathroom repair project is moving ahead. Today the plumbers came for a pow-wow. I thought the bath was to be installed tomorrow, Saturday, but they said Monday. Monday! Do I need this delay?
Well, yesterday I was to have several English classes, but they were cancelled because of Typhoon Nabi (#14). This was great, because I had concluded that I needed an unexpectedly large amount of time to break up the cement floor of the old bath. That, or a jackhammer. I wasn't going to make it on time! Then Masa Nakahara showed up and offered to borrow a jackhammer from his friend, and spend the day helping me- because his work was also cancelled on account of the typhoon. More time, more help, an expensive and normally hard-to-get tool offered free (with operator). So, I WAS going to make it on time.
And now the bath is to be installed 2 days later than planned?
BUT, the plumber (whom I expected to finish quickly) is still muttering and fiddling with plumber stuff in the bathroom, so I can't do the extra carpentry that I was assigned in the aforementioned pow-wow. SO- I'm going NOT going to make it on time- except that I now have Saturday free to work. And, I CAN make it on time.
Coincidents are great. Or- could it be that the people praying for this project are bringing higher help on line?
God loves planning "coincidents" for those who pray.

I think you are right about God loving to plan "coincidents" for those who pray. It is sad to think how much we must miss becouse we were looking for something else.
