Snow

It wouldn't be winter without a crack at the snow situation.

I thought we were badly off in 2005 when we had this kind of snow in February.

However, 2006 was worse- rememer this shot of the neighbour clearing his roof with a snowblower?

So imagine our surprise when we got to the end of February this year and it looked like this.
There is a little more snow now, which is a good thing, as we will need all the water we can get for the rice crop and apples. Around here, come fall, the farmers had better be happy, or ain't nobody happy.
So- global warming? I understand our average temperature this winter was a record high. I won't make any predictions on weather patterns, though. Wait till it happens and I'll tell you.
Global warming is a serious issue, and we need to take care of the world God has given us. But when we think of the things we should be giving our time and energy to, there's only one thing sure in our futures. That's our meeting with Christ. It's well worth one's time to make sure it will be a happy one.
